Trigger Ratchet Contest Part 1

Contest Part 1 - Improve the ratcheting and trigger design

Using as the starting point the basic case and flywheel design and size, create a simple, easily manufacturable, economic and effective ratcheting and trigger mechanism. Ideas will be judged on their uniqueness, creativity and how easily they can be incorporated into the existing design. High points will be given to designs whose parts are readily available or which can be easily manufactured using a molding system and polyurethanes. The fewer the number cast parts the better.

Submitted Design Dossier can be as informal as scanned in sketches to more complex computer generated diagrams.
